Location: Pakhal Lake is located in Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary at a distance of about 70 Km from Warangal, Andhra Pradesh.

Description: Pakhal Lake is a manmade lake, built in a tributary of Krishna River in the 13th century by Ganapati Deva, a Kakatiya ruler. Situated amidst dense forests and hilly terrain, it is a retreat for tourists. Animals, like leopard, beer and tiger, can often be seen along the lake, which is spread over an area of 30 square kilometers and showcases a magnificent site.
