The Rural Museum:

The rural depository, surrounded by trees, may be a miniature depiction of typical Indian village. Over 15 life-size huts, genuinely created out of baked clay and thatch, depict rural and social group lifestyles and therefore the lifetime of numerous artisans. It provides a window to rural life for town dwellers and people who haven’t visited a village before. Here visitors should buy hand made sarees and textiles of different states. Textiles starting from Tangail, Sambhalpur, Paithni, Kashmiri to Kanjeevaram, Dharmavaram, Tanjavur, Madurai, Peddapuram, Bandar, Guntur and different sarees. It conjointly has salwaar kamiz, ghagras, kurta, carpets, etc. Here a special artificer Bazar is additionally there providing the first art forms directly from the manufacturers.

Jalavihar is a waterpark located in Hyderabad, Telengana (India) within an area of about 12.5 acres (5.1 ha). Located beside Sanjeevaiah Park and along the Hussain Sagar lake, the park was inaugurated on 20 May 2007

Background
R. J. Rao, a non-resident Indian, and a group of individuals funded the INR220 million (US$3.5 million) in a public-private partnership model with the local tourism department. The department sanctioned a land of 12.5 acres (5.1 ha) on the Necklace Road abutting the Hussain Sagar lake for this project.

Although the land was allotted by the local government headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2000, the work was stalled because of problems with land encroachment and ownership. Further to this, a probe was initiated by the local government on the method of allocation of projects.India's apex court gave the go ahead to the project in mid-2006 on the basis of sanction of the local pollution control board and the regional high court.

There are wide range of water games offered at Jalavihar catering to both adults and kids. Some of these are wave pool, River ride, Family slide, Mini aqua trailers, Tilt bucket, Mushroom Umbrella, Float slide, Pendulum and Kids & pool. Here, you will also find some family games such as Mini Coarsely, Mini train, Super-Jet, Battery cars, Mini rainbow wheel, Mini joker, Battery bikes, Air hockey, Water shooter, Basketball, Bungy Trampoline and many more.

Jalavihar also offers the facility of Party Zone which is perfect for hosting all kinds of function varying from family gathering to birthday parties to corporate parties. There is an amphitheatre with open lawns which has the capacity to accommodate almost 2000 people while the Aesthetic Vedhika can accommodate close to 300 people.

Lumbini Park is a small public, urban park of 7.5 acres (0.030 km2; 0.0117 sq mi) adjacent to Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad, India. Since it is located in the center of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. Constructed in 1994, the park is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana.

Situated quite close to the famous standing statue of Lord Buddha and Hussain Sagar Lake, the largest artificial lake of Asia, the Lumbini Park is a place worth visiting. The main attraction of the Lumbini Park is the giant clock at the entrance of the park which has been designed using various kinds of colourful flowering plants.

Along with seasonal flowering plants, wide variety of cacti and rocks, the park also has many options to keep kids entertained. The Musical fountain and water cascades attracts everyone. The musical fountain and the laser show at the Lumbini park is something not to be missed. From the park, one can also go for boating at the Hussain Sagar and to the Buddha Statue in the middle of the lake. The timing of the musical fountain is from 6.30 P.M. and 8 P.M.

The park enjoys a good location as it is surrounded by the state Secretariat, the Hussain Sagar lake and the famous Birla Mandir. The park is open to visitors from 9.00 A.M. to 9.00 P.M on all weekdays except Mondays.
